According to the Almanac, while we might have a cooler summer overall, but we all know what those temperatures are like from June-September! (Cooler is relative!)
ANNUAL WEATHER SUMMARY: NOVEMBER 2016 TO OCTOBER 2017
Winter will be much warmer than normal, with below-normal precipitation and near-normal snowfall. The coldest periods will be in late December, early to mid- and mid- to late January, and early February. The snowiest periods in the north will be in mid- and late November, late December, and early February. April and May will be warmer than normal, with near-normal rainfall. Summer will be slightly cooler than normal, with rainfall below normal in the north and above normal in the south. The hottest periods will be in mid- to late June and mid- to late July. September (especially early) and October will be warmer than normal and slightly rainier than normal.
